This year's State Farm Collegiate Players Tour, benefitting Metropolitan Ministries, scored a hole in one! The tournament, which paired young college golfers with participants, was held Monday, July 11 at The Bear Trace. Tournament chairman, Al Carrico, and Metropolitan Ministries’ Executive Director, Rebecca Whelchel, announced that over 75 players participated and nearly $11,000 was raised. Proceeds will be used to help Metropolitan Ministries' clients with basic needs such as utilities, rent, and prescription medication payments. Food vouchers and access to longer-term supports - legal counsel, veterinary services, HIV/AIDS testing, and much more - are also available.
A standing ovation to Agency Field Executive, Al Carrico, and all our State Farm corporate supporters!
